A story of Mridul

A child's smile is the most beautiful smile in the world. A smile among neglected children is as beautiful as a river. The boy's name is Mridul. He lives on the banks of the Comilla Dharmasagar. He wakes up every morning to the sound of birds chirping. When the waves breaking on the banks of the water hit the concrete wall, Mridul silently watches the water play. He has a younger brother. His mother and younger brother live on the road in Comilla. He never knew who his father was. Mridul never regrets having never seen his father. Every day, he collects plastic waste from the streets and sells it. From plastic, he gets money, and he gives money to her mother to save for the future.

Mridul roams around the Dharmasagar beach barefoot most of the day. He asks for money from the people. From those who give money to him, he runs away with a smile. He likes to wear new clothes to go to school. In the morning, when thousands of children go to school in school dress next to him, he looks at them. He wants to walk with them. But Mridul knows that society won't let him walk. His life will be spent in ignorance.

Mridula's mother, Sarina. She hopes she will send her children to school one day. But she broke down in utter despair when no one came to her aid. Yet, she didn't give up. She is constantly trying to raise her son. She dreams of a beautiful life with Mridul. One day he will wear a school uniform. She will be happy to see that. There is no happiness in life without peace.

The Save Earth Society is working to improve Mridul's quality of life. Thousands of children like Mridul inspire us to work for them. Let's build a better society based on equality.
