There have been several movements for women's rights around the world. There is talk of women's emancipation in the streets. Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam has said that whatever is good for the creation of this world, half of it is done by women and half by men. From the beginning of the world's development, women were like shadows. Their contribution is not accidental.
From the Bangladesh Liberation War to the anti-Ershad movement, women were at the forefront. Today, those bright women in rural areas are neglected. They have no address. In a single life without a husband, there is nothing to say.
Alpha Begum is one such woman. She lost her husband almost three years ago. Her husband was a daily wage laborer. He couldn't leave his wife wealth. Alfa Begum is alive in the absence of others. Sorrow in her eyes is not misery. Ask why this society is so difficult for the poor to survive in. She fought in the war. But it didn't get any recognition. She received no help from the government. Even after 50 years of independence, Bangladesh is still under the subjugation of Alfa Begum.
Save Earth did not give her the honor of helping. We tried to pay her in cash as a respect. We did not want to help a brave warrior to establish her. She will remain forever immortal in the Comilla region as the sun rises.
Poverty is increasing in Bangladesh. There is a crisis among low-income people. People are unable to meet their needs due to rising prices. The government's debt burden is also squeezing into the lives of low-income people. As a result, it is becoming difficult for destitute, helpless people like Alpha Begum to survive.
Save Earth has been working for the welfare of the people for three years. Although in a small way, we have made a huge change in the Comilla region. We have raised my voice for the rights of people like Alpha Begum by participating in various government projects.
